Autumn months
always bring a little bit of melancholy in me, whether I am in
Cyprus or elsewhere. One of the best things about the months of
September-October are the beautiful sweet figs that show their
face in the local markets as well as the juicy grapes. These are
perhaps the best months on the island with the balmy weather and
gentle warm sea, almost empty beaches.
It is such a
joy to visit the island during this season. Not only because
there are numerous national holidays (Ramazan Bayram in
September) but also various local festivals and concerts are
there to be enjoyed
At North
