Born in the Sirinevler (Ay Ermola) village in 1946. He studied Arts at the Istanbul
Academy of Fine Arts, working at the Özdemir Altan, Nurullah Berk and Dinçer
Erimez ateliers, graduating in 1973. Upon his graduation he continued working
at the Academy, specialising on frescs and the applications of fresco techiques
on the wall.
Üstat participated in several exhibits both in Cyprus and abroad. He continues
to work at his own atelier in North Cyprus.
