Born in Cyprus; the artist graduated from the Devril Erbil atelier of the Istanbul
State Academy of Fine Arts in 1974. He was one of the members of the 1970s "Five
Young Cypriot Painters" group which opened many exhibitions both in Cyprus
and abroad.
Uluhan won many trophies and prizes for his works (paintings, posters as well
as photographs) in competitions. The artist also conducted research and studies
in Germany, France and Italy. He also has several documentary film studies.
