Born in Beyarmudu, Cyprus in 1953. Önsoy studied arts in the United
Kingdom at the Croydon Arts College, Newport College of Art, and Royal College
of Art - Goldsmiths College.
The artist also won the "David Murray" design award from the Royal College
of Art. He participated in many mixed exhibitions, and opened two personal solo
exhibition of his works in Cyprus and in London.
Önsoy currently lives and teaches art in Famagusta, North Cyprus.
