Born in Ceyhan, Paphos in 1943. He studied Arts at the Istanbul Academy of Fine
Arts, working at Devrim Erbil, Ali Çelebi and Dinçer Erimez ateliers.
He graduated from the Dinçer Erimez atelier of the Academy in 1972.
He also played mime and in theatre plays during his student years at the Academy.
Tragically, however, the artist lost his right arm during the 1974 Cyprus war.
He still practices his art and participated in many exhibits in Cyprus, Turkey
and Europe.
