 Born
in Famagusta in
1943. He studied Arts at the Istanbul Academy of Fine Arts, working at
Ali Çelebi and Dinçer Erimez ateliers. He received the third prize at
the Ahmet Andiçen competition upon his graduation from the Academy in
1972.
He help two solo exhibitions in Cyprus,
one in Nicosia and the other in Famagusta, as well as participating in
many mixed exhibitions. He was also awarded the third prize at the
"Platres" exhibition in 1973. Amir
is currently teaches Arts at a high school in North Cyprus.
